Epoch Premiere in Brattleboro
Epoch is back on the big screen! On Nov. 3rd in Brattleboro, VT, the Green Mountain Club will be hosting two screenings at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the historic Latchis Theater. Admission will be $5. A brew pub (with 20 beers on tap) is attached to the theater, so bring your appetite and your thirst. And if you get really rowdy, there's even a hotel for you to stay in (but we suggest keeping it mellow).

Prizes will be raffled off at each show, including items such as backpacks, tees, hats, magazine subscriptions, water bottles, DVD's, and calendars. And the GMC will have many items available as well, such as hiking guides and books, sign-ups for the club, and more.

Come see the first ever documentary to expose a story about past and present backcountry skiing on five of the highest mountains in the northern Appalachians. Filmed and produced by yours truly, Epoch features a modern adventure with a crew of young skiers who hike, camp, summit, and ski all five mountains. The film also blends in a story of the rich history behind each peak. The five mountains are:

· Mt. Mansfield, VT
· Mt. Washington, NH
· Mt. Marcy, NY
· Mt. Greylock, MA
· Katahdin, ME

We are really excited for this movie event, and hope to see not only skiers and outdoor enthusiasts in the crowd, but also all you history buffs... there is plenty of great information behind each mountain including its colonial times, development, its skiing background, etc. Come get educated!

Meathead athlete and accomplished mountaineer, rock climbing instructor, and ski patroller, Dave Watson, will be on hand to help introduce the movie at each screening and to meet and greet the audience. Hope to see you there!
