Our stops in MA, NY, NJ, and MD were quite the times...
Boston was crazy crowded at The Greatest Bar where Snow Gods played on a 14' HD flatscreen. Lots of big prizes, flowing beer, and a super rowdy group of fans made for a memorable night. We will definitely be back again next year. Thanks to the Boston Ski & Sports Club and Harpoon for all their contributions to the event.
Hoboken, NJ was at a sweet bar organized through the Hoboken Ski Club. Sam Adams was there with some beer specials and we had a good time adding a Meathead touch to the cardboard cutout (see photos). Athlete Joe Morabito's parents came out for the festivities and some other friends were on hand, which added to the comraderie of the night. A big thanks to Gene Sackman for all of his help.
We also hit up another Jersey premiere planned by the Craigmeur Ski Club. They hooked us up at a yacht club that had a killer set up and sound system. In addition, it was our first tour location with three separate screenings of Snow Gods in one day. A great turnout overall thanks to their stellar promotion. Thanks to Glen DeSantis, Larry Ticotin and everyone else who made this event come together.
It was our first time in Maryland and our most southern premiere to date. University of Maryland's Ski & Snowboard Club pulled through with an awesome campus theater sporting the most giant screen our movie has ever played on. Despite the rainy midweek night, we had an enthusiastic crowd and left our mark in the "south." Shout outs to Kevin Cassidy and Emily Firestone for all their work (and having faith that we'd show up way down there).
New York City was another highlight of our tour season. Ski The East girls, a bar modeled after Mad River Glen, live music, and a crazy drink special created the perfect atmosphere for some Eastern ski porn. Lots of friends added to the great premiere. The big downer was at the end of the night when our new laptop was left in a cab, never to be seen again (Todd you owe me a beer. No, actually a laptop). So, no thanks to you dishonest cabby! But, much thanks to Pete Muzsi, Jamie's Junk, and the Ski The East girls for helping with raffle ticket sales and handouts.
Enjoy the pictures!
