Meathead East Coast Skiing Adventure Movies & Films

As always, Montreal was a rip roarin good ole Canadian time. Event organizer, Meathead athlete, and resident Montrealer Simon Thomson, was on hand to help host the dual premiere with Theory-3 Media's, [photo] play (he has also been featured in past Theory-3 releases). The theater was absolutely awesome, but little did we know, it was in a special part of town... this was discovered when someone noticed the two huge rainbow flags flying high at the club next door.

This obviously didn't deter the 215+ people from coming out to enjoy a night of Eastern and Western ski porn. Plus the venue was a rad old historical theater, which helped grace the dual premiere with a touch of class. There were buttloads of raffle prizes up for grabs with the combined schwag from Meathead Films, Theory-3, and event sponsor, D-Structure. Snow Gods rolled first, followed by [photo] play, and the crowd was equally psyched for each. How couldn't they be? Meathead Films showcasing only Northeastern footage, while Theory-3 films exclusively in the Northwest... providing a wide range of kick ass North American skiing.

The premiere was followed by late night debauchery at various Montreal bars, and we eventually made it back to Simon's parents house where a dip in their half drained, over-chlorinated, ice-capped in-ground pool finished off the night. Thanks for the inebriated motivation, Mr. Palmer. The chlorine smell has finally left my skin and hair. Unfortunately no late night photos are available due to a missing/stolen point & shoot camera. It probably had nothing to do with being at the bars after a Massachusetts premiere. Thanks Boston!
