Meathead East Coast Skiing Adventure Movies & Films

Many things can be said about Jen Crichton (yes, her brother is Dave Crichton) but make no mistake; she's not just a pretty face or a younger sibling. She's a wearer of many hats, attending university playing soccer at a the collegiate level, and filming with Meathead Films for our upcoming flick, "Wild Stallions." Recently she embarked on a trip to PA with her fellow Meatheads Andy Parry and Will Wesson. Upon her return, I caught up with Jen and asked her these five questions. Enjoy!

Where are you from?
Manotick, Ontario. It’s a cute little town close to Ottawa.

How long have you been skiing?

What’s in been like filming with Andy Parry?
It’s really been a dream come true. He’s an amazing, amazing person. I’m trying to ski a lot more like him. (laughs) I think he’s really cute but I don’t think he thinks that about me…(Andy’s in the room blushing)…but Will Wesson’s probably cuter. (laughs)

What would you say your specialty is as far as skiing goes? What do you like skiing the most?
I don’t think what I like skiing the most and what I’ve found easy are the same things. Obviously skiing powder is the most fun or just lapping the park on a spring day but I guess in the past I’ve hit mostly handrails.

Do you like hitting handrails?
It’s kind of a love/hate relationship with handrails and I. Before you start hitting it, sometimes you’re like, “Why am I doing this?” and during it, if you’re not getting your tricks it can be like, “Oh my god. All this work and I might not get a single shot?” but for those times you do get the shot… it’s an awesome feeling and that makes it worth while.

Aside from what you’ve already filmed, what would you like to film for your segment this year in “Wild Stallions?”
I’d really like to hit some more handrails. We haven’t done a bunch but hopefully some cool tricks…some REAL tricks on handrails… not just sliding them!
