Meathead East Coast Skiing Adventure Movies & Films

The makings of a great premiere are all in the preparation.  As much as you think that you’ve planned everything ahead, the day of the premiere is always a whirlwind.  

Such was last Friday, September 25, in Burlington, VT.  The day dawned grey but clouds parted by mid afternoon as the Meatheads busily prepared for the festivities.  Last minute pickups of materials, giveaways, raffle prizes, people and even horses were made.

6:00pm – Crowds begin gathering outside the CC Theatre and are greeted by none other than Missy, the “somewhat miniature” horse courtesy of Breakaway Farms.  Although a mare, Missy played the part of our Wild Stallion for the night and gave out loud whinnies to the delight of all.  She also looked breathtakingly gorgeous in her photo ops with the fans

6:30pm – Scheduled showtime is pushed back to 7:00 because of long lines and too much storytelling by Radio Ron.  DJ Disco Phantom rocks a mix of Meathead movie songs and his own selections inside the theatre.

7:00pm – 1st official premiere of Wild Stallions begins with roars from the crowd, throughouts from the sponsors and cheers for the dedicated Meathead athletes stoking the crowd up front

 

7:45pm – The crowd now realizes why skiing the East Coast is so ridiculously awesome.  The last tears of joy are shed by the cheering crowd during the end credits.

8:00 pm – Raffle prizes galore and more freebies on the way out

8:15pm – the late show crowd begins to enter theatre.  DJ Disco Phantom continues his blazing beats

9:15pm – late show crowd has now reached capacity and aisle stairs are filling up with people

9:25pm – last remaining attendees squeeze into standing room only in the back as the Meathead athletes once again throw out prizes and psych the crowd up.  The late show audience is LOUD AND ROWDY!

10:15pm – End Credits roll, the people cheer at deafening decibels and the finale raffle starts.  LINE Afterbang skis, Orage outerwear, Kombi gloves and Meathead DVD’s are the clutch prizes

11:00pm – Metronome 90’s night afterparty begins.  Many Wild Stallions Tour T-Shirts are seen throughout the club.  Drinks, cheers and dancing all night long

2:30am – Late night pizza.  The Stallions disperse into the darkness…
