When you first meat, I mean, meet, the Meatheads you'll learn three things very quickly about us:
1. We're an all East Coast ski film company
2. We're based in Burlington, VT
3. Rooster's from Maine.

So when the first full week of Wild Stallions tour dates showed we were making our way through Maine, I couldn't resist to hop on board and experience a week in Maine with two of the state's fiercest and intense ambassadors, Chris James and Wild Stallions athlete, Dan Marion.

Our trip began with a hometown premiere for Mr. James. Many of his longtime friends and family showed up for the premiere in Brunswick, ME on the Bowdoin College campus. Next we were off to Bates but not before Rooster and Marion got me in the frigid Atlantic for some surf. I have never surfed a day in my life before this experience and paddling out looked like the poster to the popular fishing epic, The Perfect Storm. Needless to say, I got thrashed and bashed around and became well aquainted with the ocean floor as we smashed into one another quite often during the rough sesh (that's Maine speak for, "surfing outing with friends").

We arrived in Bates and the crowd came out in full force in the Carnegie Science Building including Shea Flynn's parents. Shea's dad commented, "I didn't know Shea could ski powder!" after watching his son slay pow during Jay Peak's epic storm last March. Trust us Mr. Flynn, we didn't know either!

After Bates, it was onto Orono, don't you know! Neville Hall was packed to the max and the U Maine crowd enjoyed the all-Maine segment featured in Wild Stallions. We partied till the early morn and had a grea hula hoop session. Yep, the hula hoop is back, folks and you heard it here first! Last but not least, we arrived at, what some may say was, the crown jewel of our Maine tour stops, Farmington. The large Farmington crowd loved the shots from Sugarloaf and Saddleback, screaming along with every massive trick shown on film. The party continued afterwards and many epic gas station shirts were found on party goers.

Maine was a wild ride. If this article seems a little fuzzy on details, it's because that's what happens in Maine. You get fuzzy on details and spot whoopie pies in the cornah of a fridge with them young eyes. We also made a little video while I tour. I hope you enjoy it.
