The stigma surrounding New Jersey is one of tank tops, gold chains and the "shore" made famous by MTV this winter. The Meatheads went down to uncharted territory to find a bit of the shore flavor and some skiing at Mountain Creek in Vernon, Jerz.
Mountain Creek is underrated. They do a stellar job on the park, and although we were there late season and half the park had been taken down, the resort still had up well over 50 features. Shea Flynn, Sean Jordan, Ryan Anderson, Peter Engen, and Mike Urich joined myself and Dylan Tucker on camera #2.

Sessioning the up/down/left/right/bank rail. Sean Jordan demonstrates |
Working with the Creek over 3 sun soaked days we managed to build up and reshape 6 different features for the guys to session. Everything from rock stalls and rail gaps to a funky quarterpipe thingy, the meats shredded it all! We got the chance to scope some legendary locals complete with jeans and rear entries as well as some babes in bikinies.
Despite the fact that Shea bruised his butt (very badly) hitting a 10 ft. flat rail on day 2, the Mountain Creek shoot went well overall and Seany J. especially shined with shots on every feature.
Special thanks to Halley O'Brien, Ray Banta, Joe Hession, PJ Post and the ski patrol for making the whole shoot possible!
